Shallow Hal was a big surprise of 2001. Shallow Hal has literally no weak scenes. I still remember the first time I saw Shallow Hal. It is a phenomenal, tense movie from the beginning to the end. Bobby Farrelly Peter Farrelly is the person who made Shallow Hal such amazing movie. Artistry of actors are just magnificent, no one give bad performance. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been created, but Shallow Hal, certainly is one of them. I'm sure that Shallow Hal will continue to live for next 100 years. The story revolves around Hal who, taking his dying father's advice, dates only the embodiments of female physical perfection. But eventually, Hal falls in love with a 300 pound woman because of her "inner beauty".
