The Nines was a big surprise of 2007. The Nines set a new standard for modern movie making. The Nines stands out above all other films I've seen at least for last 5 years. The Nines has one of the highest ranks in IMDB top movies. Film with best plot ever, best directing and really good chosen actors. Skills of actors are just unimaginable, especially Hope Davis's play. The Nines has many original details and specifics that I really cannot get out of my head since watching it. It just set the new standard for Drama movies. You just have to see it.

After being drunk and crashes his car, troubled actor Gary wakes up and finds himself under home arrest. From that moment, he begins to be haunted by the number 9 since that numbers appears everywhere in the newspapers, magazines, and TV. Meanwhile, he also find his own writing "Look for the nines", a memo he does not remember writing.
