The Physician for me is the best movie of 2013. The Physician is a great lesson in movie making for all the newbie directors. The Physician is an outstanding top class movie. I expected average crap movie at most, I received amazing movie. Philipp Stölzl once again delivered us great piece of true cinema. The sum of small details is incredible. The Physician has strange energy that fills me every time I watch it. The Physician will be top movie for a long time yet. Enjoy watching.
Storyline of The Physician
Set during the 11th century, the movie centers on a destitute orphan whose mother died of a mysterious illness as he travels to Persia to study medicine with the legendary Persian physician Avicenna.
